Team Fit4Mom
Ophelia
Owner
Hi, I'm Ophelia — proud owner of FIT4MOM St. Vrain Valley!
I'm a mom to two incredible boys — Liam (8) and Grady (5) — and married to my best friend, Jimbo. We've been together for 19 years. 💛
FIT4MOM has been woven into every stage of my motherhood journey. After my first son was born in 2017, life changed in ways I couldn’t have predicted. I lost my job, became a stay-at-home mom, and quickly found myself feeling isolated and overwhelmed. I was desperate for connection — for movement, for friendship, for a sense of myself again.
At just 8 weeks postpartum, I stumbled upon FIT4MOM... and it truly felt like finding a golden ticket. It wasn’t just about exercise — it was about belonging. I found a village of moms who understood exactly where I was, and I got to move my body while bringing my sweet baby along with me. It filled a void I didn’t even fully realize was there.
By the end of that same year, I became an instructor with FIT4MOM Irvine. I fell completely in love with the mission and community, and eventually became certified in every program FIT4MOM offered. I was all in.
When my second son was born in 2019, I faced a new and unexpected challenge: postpartum depression, anxiety, and rage. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life — and once again, FIT4MOM was my lifeline. The friendships, the support, the space to show up exactly as I was — it kept me going when I couldn’t see the light myself.

Instructor/Coach/Client Manager
I’m Lauren! (mom to Riley, Kaiden, and Jayde) I am the Leads Manager & an instructor. I’m a Colorado native, born and raised in Arvada, went to college in Fort Collins, now settled in Firestone. I’ve been with my husband since 2010, the same year he began his career and joined the army; we are a military family! Besides our human children, we have two fur babies, Jackson (chocolate lab) and Opie (staffordshire terrior), that make our family complete!
After moving, working remote, having a baby, then quitting my job to stay home with our baby, I felt alone and on my own to figure out this new chapter called motherhood. Then came baby 2. I was just a mom/wife looking to find MY identity in the world. I didn’t know where to start trying to make connections that would stick. I was so nervous when I tried my first free class, but the idea of getting to be physically active with my kids held my attention. Quickly, I knew it was something that I was going to make part of my routine for ME. Fit4Mom is a place where I am healthier, both mentally and physically, surrounded by other moms who can relate to my day to day, all in similar places in life, all while having my own identity and setting an example for my kids.

Instructor Coach
Hi, I’m Erica! I’m a boy mom to a 5y, 3y & 3m old. I’ve been with Fit4Mom SVV since it was just a dream of owner Ophelia’s & have watched our Village grow from the day we held our very first class. I’m the Village Manager, a Stroller Strides, Body Boost & Strides 360 instructor as well as a BodyWell coach. As the Village Manager I plan our playgroups, our moms night outs, field trips etc. which is such a fun job.
Outside of Fit4Mom I’m a wife of almost 10 years, I homeschool & love to sketch portraits! I have a side gig as an artist that I’ll return to once the “new baby dust” has settled.
I love to help women see what their bodies are capable of, how strong they are and the beauty of how that strength influences their children. I equally love distracting your kids so you can claim the class time as yours. I love holding all the babies and blowing all the bubbles!
If I could give you words of encouragement for your first class:
You are worthy of this hour. You’ve made the breakfast, you’ve packed the snacks, you’ve gotten the shoes on. Now, it’s time for you. I know that this is daunting and you don’t know what to expect. I know that stepping out of your bubble is scary and sometimes its easier to stay safely in it. I promise you this: You will instantly be welcomed and surrounded by the kindest group of fellow moms who have all been the new mom once. You will leave your first class feeling empowered and strong. Loved and supported. I promise you’ll forget about how hard it was to get out the door this morning the minute you hop in the circle!

Instructor
Hi, I’m Sarah! I have three boys, Isaac (5) Aiden (4) and Owen (2). My husband and I have been together since 2007. We were both born and raised in Colorado. Frederick has been our home since 2016. I love to spend time with my family and in my free time I love a good binge worthy show. I enjoy home decor and organization. I love the outdoors!
I joined Fit4Mom shortly after my second son was born. I quickly realized this was the perfect way for me to have something for myself, get a great workout in and also give my kids some social interaction. The moms are all so supportive and friendly. After sometime being in the group I decided I wanted to become an instructor to be a part of the community as well as help other moms the way this group has helped me find my village. I currently teach Stroller Strides, Strides 360, Stroller Barre, Body Ignite, Body Boost and Fit4Baby.
Words of Encouragement:
It’s so hard and overwhelming to come to your first class. But just do it! You won’t regret it. All the moms are so welcoming. You will make amazing and supportive friendships and build your village in motherhood!

Hi, I’m Laura! I have two boys, Luke (2.5 years) and Owen (7 months). I met my husband, Andrew, the first week of college in Spokane, WA (Go Zags!) but we are both originally from Colorado. We returned home to Colorado right after graduation and are living in Erie. We also have 2 dogs (Donna and Yogi) that our boys keep on their toes.
Outside of Fit4Mom, I work as a hospice nurse a few days a month and stay home with the boys the rest of the time. I love spending time with family and friends especially outside or traveling.
I joined Fit4Mom when Luke was almost 1 - my only regret was not joining sooner. I finally felt like I had a community of moms that were experiencing (or had experienced) the same things I was. I love that I can get a good workout in and my kids can get out of the house with friends. I’m so grateful to be an instructor for Fit4Mom because I can help support other moms along their own mental and physical journeys throughout motherhood.

Run Club Coach/Instrucctor
Hello - I'm Megan! My husband (of almost ten years!) and I have two kids: a three-year old daughter, and a one-year old son. Both of us grew up here in Colorado, met here in Colorado, and have lived here our entire relationship - and honestly, we can't imagine ever leaving. We love being outside, whether it's hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. There's so much to do!
I'm absolutely thrilled to be running the SVV Fit4Mom Run Club. I started running over a decade ago, and I immediately fell in love with the sport. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time either learning about running or putting that knowledge into practice. It's been a passion that has grown and changed with me through all the stages of my life - I'm so excited to watch the same happen for you! When I'm not running or spending time outside, I work full-time in website and marketing analytics (read: setting up lots of backend tracking, report-building, and database querying and management).

Body Well Coach
Hi, I’m Courtney! I have a 3 year old son named Aiden and a 15 month old daughter named Autumn. I was born and raised in Virginia and moved to Colorado in 2016, then moved to Frederick in 2021 right before Aiden was born. My husband and I met on a storm chase in 2012 after we graduated college at Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) and got married in 2019. We also have an Aussie doodle named Luna and a kitty named Tara. In my free time outside of work, I enjoy hiking, crafts, binging Netflix and reading.
I am a full time working mom who loves all kinds of fitness but my favorite is probably weight lifting.
While on maternity leave, I found the St. Vrain Valley Fit4mom group and instantly knew this group was special! I was so excited to find other moms in my area and to workout with them and my baby by my side. After my maternity leave was over, the Body Well program was my saving grace. Now I am a Body Well coach and enjoy sharing my passion and excitement for the program with other moms who I get to call my close friends.
Encouragement for new mom:
No matter where you are in your mom journey Fit4mom has a place for you. It can be overwhelming at first but everyone is so welcoming and getting to move around with or without your kiddos is so refreshing. Come to class and check it out, you won’t regret it!

Instructor
Hey there mamas, I'm Melissa! I'm a Tennessee transplant with many of my family roots native to Colorado, so it's always been a second home. Planted myself here permanently back in 2014, met the love of my life (my Tony), started our family and are still currently writing our love story! I'm mama to a couple of loving and spunky little girls, Tatum is 3 and Lowyn is 1.
I work as a self employed accountant and photographer. I love creative outlets, cooking, baking, spending time with family, the outdoors, feeding passions, adventures and creating what new memories we can squeeze in on the day to day. I have always been an athlete and have so much love for fitness, health and overall wellness. I have a passion for loving and uplifting others.
I teach Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre,Body Boost and Body Ignite! I found Fit4Mom when I needed to break out of my postpartum introversion, find re discover my body, peace of mind, sense of community and a healthy environment for myself and Tatum (who was roughly 9 months old at the time). I knew not a soul as we just moved to this area and every ounce of my intro to Fit4Mom was foreign and new. This village welcomed me in and game me a sense of comfort, acceptance, patience and encouragement that we are all moms in this together! It took a little while to find my solid place, but consistency paves the way to so much, and now I have a real and authentic "village". I love our community, our moms and all these babies we get to meet and watch grow! I've developed very treasured relationships and my daughter behaves as though she has about 10-15 beloved "aunties" around every time we go to class. Our days are better and my sense of self is much improved in so many ways since becoming a member and instructor of Fit4Mom.

Hey there, I’m Meghan! I have a 3 year old and 1 year old. My husband and I are both Colorado natives, we went to high school in Erie together. I joined Fit4Mom shortly after my daughter was born. I wanted to get back into my fitness routine and meet other local moms. Finding the support and friendship of other moms made my postpartum journey easier. I grew lifelong friendships and my daughter has made friends with the other kids as well. She loves coming to class just as much as I do. I love having the community and support as I walk through motherhood.
Currently, I teach Stroller Strides but am looking forward to teaching more classes here soon. When I’m not teaching or at class, you’ll find me being a SAHM. I also enjoy cooking and baking, running, or reading.
Encouragement for new mom:
Don’t be intimidated! As a first time mom, I was nervous going to a class with so many other moms. I learned quickly that they were in the same boat I was in, and that I could build a community and friendship with them. It truly does take a village and they are the village I can turn to.

Village Coordinator
Hi, I’m Becky and I am one of the Village Events Coordinators! I have been married to my best friend Jon for 3.5 years and have a beautiful 1 year old daughter Addy. I grew up in Michigan, moved to Tennessee to get my Doctorate of Physical Therapy, and then moved out to Colorado to start my first job in May 2017. I work part-time in pediatric aquatic therapy (pool PT for kids!) and part-time in geriatrics, so two totally different ends of the spectrum!
When I’m not working (or working out with Fit4Mom), I love to spend time outdoors through hiking, rock climbing and skiing! I also love jigsaw puzzles and may convince you to do a puzzle competition with me if you ask about it ;)
I joined the Fit4Mom family when Addy was about 6 weeks old. Postpartum felt a bit lonely, and I was trying to navigate my new world of being a mama while also trying to take care of my body and feel strong again. Fit4Mom was honestly the most perfect thing for me. I have found an amazing village of women and a wonderful community of kids for my daughter to play with! The killer workouts are just a bonus! I absolutely love my role of bringing everyone together outside of classes to provide support, fun, play and friendship.

Book Club Coordinator
Hey there! I’m Heathyr, the book club coordinator for Fit4mom St. Vrain Valley. I’m originally from a small town in Iowa and moved to Colorado for grad school. I’ve been married for 7 years to my amazing husband, Allan, and we’re parents to Jacob, who’s 5, and our mini dachshund, Shelby.
I absolutely love Fit4mom! I joined back in the very beginning of St. Vrain Valley in May 2021, going to a free class, and realizing I needed this awesome community of mamas in my life!
I’m so happy to be your book club coordinator! Like many other moms, I lost a little bit of myself while trying to keep a tiny human alive. And I just wasn’t finding time for me. Enter…Fit4mom and our village book club! I love books and I love to read. I always have. Our book club has brought out our love for books! Mamas, including myself, are reading more than we have in ages. It’s fun to read a new book, have an extra mom’s night out, and make time for you again!
Along with Fit4mom and reading, I also love to bake, watch Below Deck and holiday Hallmark movies when I have time, and drinking cold brew coffee year round!
Encouragement for a new mom:
Join Fit4mom and find your village! I wish I had known about this wonderful community when my son was a newborn. It will change your life!
