Ophelia
Owner
Hiiii! Im Ophelia, the proud owner of Fit4Mom St. Vrain Valley. I have two boys, Liam (almost 7) and Grady (4). Im married to my BFF, Jimbo, and we've been together 17 years 😍
Fit4Mom has been a huge part of my motherhood journey. After I had my first in 2017, I lost my job and became a stay at home mom. It was a whole new chapter in my life and I felt so lonely in it. As soon as I got cleared to workout again, I started looking for exercising mom groups. At 8 weeks PP, Fit4Mom was the golden ticket. I quickly made friends, I felt like I really belonged to something...plus I got to exercise and bring my little sweet baby along. By the end of 2017 I became an instructor at Fit4Mom Irvine. I quickly fell in love and found a passion I didn’t even know existed. By the time I had my second, I was certified in everything that Fit4Mom offered - I was obsessed.
In 2019 I had my second and life felt like it turned upside down. I was hit hard with postpartum depression/anxiety/rage…all the things. Having my community at Fit4Mom was my light during this time.
In 2020 we moved to Colorado and started over. I quickly realized how little there was for moms to do in the area and had this gut feeling that I needed to share the magic of Fit4Mom in the St. Vrain Valley area and in June 2021 I did just that.
Owning this small business has been filled with so many ups and downs but at the end of the day my heart is so full. I get to watch friendships grow, moms find their confidence, women get stronger in motherhood, and so much more. Sharing the magic of Fit4Mom is what I am here for!
When I'm not working, I like to just be with my family. Going to breweries, hockey or baseball games, shuttling my own kids around for sports and working out.
Encouragement for a new mom:
If you are thinking about trying a Fit4Mom class, even if it's just slightly on your radar. DO IT. I guarantee you will leave feeling refreshed and will have a smile on your face. There is something so magical about Fit4Mom that you can only know if you give it a try. Also - just know that this is a judge free zone. You do not have to be super fit to be here, it's ok if your baby screams, it's ok if you feel nervous. We all start somewhere.
