Lauren

Leads Manager

I’m Lauren! (mom to Riley, Kaiden, and Jayde) I am the Leads Manager & an instructor. I’m a Colorado native, born and raised in Arvada, went to college in Fort Collins, now settled in Firestone. I’ve been with my husband since 2010, the same year he began his career and joined the army; we are a military family! Besides our human children, we have two fur babies, Jackson (chocolate lab) and Opie (staffordshire terrior), that make our family complete!

After moving, working remote, having a baby, then quitting my job to stay home with our baby, I felt alone and on my own to figure out this new chapter called motherhood. Then came baby 2. I was just a mom/wife looking to find MY identity in the world. I didn’t know where to start trying to make connections that would stick. I was so nervous when I tried my first free class, but the idea of getting to be physically active with my kids held my attention. Quickly, I knew it was something that I was going to make part of my routine for ME. Fit4Mom is a place where I am healthier, both mentally and physically, surrounded by other moms who can relate to my day to day, all in similar places in life, all while having my own identity and setting an example for my kids.

It didn’t take long to have a passion for the group and wanting to be part of the team! As a stay-at-home mom, I craved an extra piece of life that challenged me and needed my attention in ways other than just my kids. I love welcoming new moms into our tribe and to be a stepping stone for them to find the path that works for them!

Outside of Fit4Mom, on the days when naps line up at the same time, I try to find time to sew or any excuse to use my cricut!

Encouragement for a new mom:

The HARDEST part is coming to that first class. The anxiety of not knowing anyone, questioning your kids behavior in the stroller, questioning the workout itself… we’ve all been there! But you’ve got nothing to lose by coming to a class, and everything to gain! They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we want to be that village for you!
