Hey there, my name is Heathyr and I’m the book club coordinator for Fit4mom St. Vrain Valley! I’m so excited that we recently started book club and to introduce this new series to the Fit4Mom blog space. I will write my own personal review on the book that we are currently wrapping up. So many of us have rekindled our love for books after joining book club. Whether you like to sit and read or prefer to listen to your books, we’d love for you to join us!

Our book club is really unique. All the books we choose from, are books suggested by our members. I draw two books out of a hat and we vote on what we want to read that month. And the books we don’t choose goes back into to the “future book” pile to be chosen for the next round. We start a new book every 5-6 weeks, depending on how big it is. And we have a book club meeting at a local restaurant after we finish each book, to discuss and spend time with other mamas. It’s the best!

We’re just finishing up our newest book club book, Book Lovers by Emily Henry. If you love a good rom-com, this book is for you! A little bit of romance and a lot of laughs. I really enjoyed it!

It’s a modern take on the usual Hallmark movie. Focusing on family and how important it is the find yourself and your own way. The witty banter and present-day phrases made it such a fun read…even if, not totally believable. I can’t wait to read more books by Emily Henry!
